Uncommunicative. Eric was always polite on the phone when i called, but completely unhelpful. Someone else answered one day and when I asked about status on my car they were rude and didnt give me full information. I found out the next day that my replacement transmission hadn't even been delivered and that person indicated they were actively working it. I constantly had to reach out for status as it was never provided to me. They had my car for two weeks after quoting 1. As I type this, I have been waiting all day for status on my car and they close in a little over 1 hour. I already had to extend my rental by yet another day. I regret giving them my business.

Eric and AAmco Team, Thank you so very much for taking care of me and repairing my Tiguan...twice. Eric your friendliness, knowledge, and willingness to deal with the warranty company (including the time zone difference) was greatly appreciated. I am so, so happy with the repairs to my transmission. My car drives so wonderfully now. Your mechanics were so awesome please, thank them for me. I will continue take my car there for all services and will refer you all to everyone I know. Thank you all again for your amazing service, repairs, and knowledge.

Took my Honda Fit in for some noises coming from the engine. Dealt with Eric who was super helpful and responsive. He took care of my car, fixed everything for a fair price and was a pleasure to deal with. He was awesome! Would highly recommend

Don’t come here! Just like the last guy that left a one star. This isn’t a real transmission shop. They sublet my transmission to Anaheim gear. Came in for a noise at idle, but goes away when clutch pressed in. -They replaced the clutch still had the noise - rebuilt transmission still had noise - remained transmission still had noise & leaks -my transmission is currently leaking w/ noise They told me, they accidentally overfilled my transmission and it’s fine now. Once you overfill something the seal/ gaskets blow out. They also put a crack on my transmission housing when they replaced the mount. This company can’t even do basic mechanic practice. Biggest waist of $$$$$ THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON SINCE NOVEMBER 2024

I visited AAMCO Transmissions & Total Car Care located at 7201 Garfield Ave, Huntington Beach, CA, for a complimentary inspection of my car and talked to Eric. I have a dash cam installed in my car and automatically sends videos to my email when the car is turned off. To my shock, I received a video showing an AAMCO employee using my car for personal and AAMCO business errands. He drove my car to a liquor store, then to his home, parking it in an alley. Afterward, he took my car on a lengthy drive through various cities picking up and dropping off car parts for AAMCO. The cities included Westminster, Fountain Valley, Costa Mesa, Irvine, Tustin, Anaheim, and Stanton. The video had timestamps and locations for each place visited, indicating that he covered a lot of miles and used a significant amount of gas during this unauthorized trip. Unfortunately, the employee's actions had negative consequences for my car. The bumper has road rash now and the alignment is off, so now my car pulls to the right. Obviously, he hit a curb or something hard. I now also have a slow leak in my back tire. Additionally, I discovered that the driver had smoked inside my car, which he denied despite ha
